Weekly challenge 4 – bridges

This week I had to photograph bridges with a 50mm f/1.8 on manual focus. Pretty easy when you have a river cutting through the city and lots of bridges to choose from. You’ll see 5 bridges here. I would have liked to photograph more – for instance, University of Queensland has a very pretty bridge at their St Lucia campus (Eleanor Schonell Bridge);  the Captain Cook Bridge, which connects the Botanic Gardens to South Bank, doesn’t make for a great picture but the crossing has some points of interest; and finally, lots of bridges along the way from Brisbane to Byron Bay, including the “green bridges” that are just for animals 🙂 Time and opportunity permitting, I might get to them and add some photos here later.

Next time: ART!!
